Copying DVDs
After you have bought a DVD it is a good idea to create a backup copy to use, so that, should it become scratched/damaged to an extent that it is no longer playable you will still have a master copy, from which you can create another copy. Copying disks in this way is perfectly legal, though you must destroy any copies you have made should you later sell the DVD. Copying DVDs you have rented is of course, illegal.
